England Football Fans
Before I start I must state that I want England to qualify for World Cup finals etc, I am 1/4 English after all and many England players play for my team, of course I want them to do well however…
..the fans are pathetic. Once England were ‘comfortably’ 3 -1 up against the mighty kazakhstan the fans started chanting “Who are you?” Well this is who they are. A vast impoverished country about the same size as Western Europe most of which is desert or mountain. It has a population a third that of England and a gross domestic product less than a tenth that of England. They have been playing international football since 1992 (David James has been playing for England almost that long) They are ranked 131st by FIFA ie 117 places below England, in fact they are way below even Togo (they are even lower than Wales …. enough said). On the bright side with rising oil prices they are set to make a fortune and they are also predicted to soon be the worlds largest exporter of uranium.. hmm what WILL we all use to power our Sky television etc when the oil runs out? If only Abramovitch had invested his money in a kazakh team.
